It's been how long?

Hi ladies, I hope you are all well, happy and creating lots.

I have been keeping busy making lots of cards, selling some cards, teaching some cardmaking classes, creating a layout here or there and having fun!

At ScrapBoutique we are very fortunate to have Zoe Pearn as part of our online community. Zoe designs for My Minds Eye and has created some wonderful online classes for us, using her gorgeous Ooh La La papers. Thanks Zoe!

Here is my layout from the class. My daughter, Sabrina, recently turned 4 so this layout was perfect for her "Just You at 4" album.

Recently I was asked to join in the fun at Making Handmade Cards, it's a wonderful cardmaking site with lots of ideas and cool papers and sentiments and ideas to use. Thanks Jo and Claire for inviting me on board.

Here is my first card for them using the pretty Flower Train Kit. It's so much fun printing out your paper to use on a card.

Well with the new month brings new challenges at ScrapBoutique. Make sure to check out the challenges Manon, Emma, Amanda and I have created for you.

Here is mine - to create an Easel Card - I made some quick steps and popped them in the forum. I used the wonderful colourful Kaisercraft Christmas Carnival papers to make a fun christmas card!

More cards for ScrapBoutique, featuring lots of wonderful papers and embellishments from The Boutique, thanks Chels!

1 Paper 4 Ways Stylist Challenge - Each month Chels gives the Stylists the same piece of paper and we all have fun creating different and fun projects with it. For October we used the pretty Basic Grey Urban Prairie Ladybug paper.

The October "Paper of the Month" was the Memento Collection 5 and I was the lucky one to use these papers. Here is one of the cards I had fun making with the wonderful papers. I experiment in photoshop and created my own digital sentiment - I should do that more often!

Some more Stylists projects - these ones using a paper range I haven't used before - American Crafts - Blue Skies. I just loved the colours in these papers.

And another range I don't usually "do" is Sassafrass Lass but I just loved working with these Sweet Marmalade papers.

This card front (something new for me) was for a fun Christmas Card Front swap over at Scrap.Biz. I received some beautiful card fronts from Melleny, Rach, Danielle, Susanne and Deb, thanks ladies.

I always love working with sketches by Deanne Burton and I was lucky to be a Guest DT for November on her "Christmas Cards All Year Round Blog" but boy oh boy was the challenge a toughie for me - we had to make a one layer card - yikes - that is a swear word in my Card Wikipedia lol but here is my effort.... Thanks to some wonderful products I made this simple card.

Products Used:
ShortCuts Frosted Card Base
Prima Glitter Swirl Transparency
Making Memories sentiment rubon
Karen Foster star burst brads
Kaisercraft pearl strips

Well if you made it this far, thanks a lot for hanging in there. Have a great week and happy creating!

Oh and don't forget we have an AWESOME Christmas Workshop coming up at ScrapBoutique - but hurry there are only a few Workshop Kits left or come and join us with a Workshop Only Pass.

We are very fortunate to have the talented Zoe Pearn, a designer for My Minds Eye, teaching some classes for us at ScrapBoutique.

So if you haven't already grabbed yourself one of the kits or both, like I have, then pop into the Boutique and grab a kit or two.

ScrapBoutique - World Card Making Day Cards

Hi ladies, hope you all had a fab weekend and enjoyed celebrating World Card Making Day on Saturday? I ran some fun challenges over at ScrapBoutique - I am slowly turning the Boutique Babes into cardmakers hehe!

Monochromatic Card Challenge (with a splash of cream or white)

Use only 1 piece of patterned paper - I used Collage Press Grayson Hall paper and some gorgeous AC pearl brads and a devine Prima Say It in Studs.

Colour Combo challenge

I stepped WAY OUT of my comfort zone here and used some Sassafrass Lass Papers.

Sketch Challenge - I just love creating sketches and seeing what everyone creates using them

My card using the wonderful Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses papers

Have a great week and thanks for dropping in!
PS: I am having a little POLL about card kits - do you like to buy a card kit and follow steps or do you prefer to by the kit to design your own cards? Thanks for any feedback ladies :-)
