Truck Wont Start Just Clicks
The starter clicked a single time when i turned the key, and the lights on the radio came on, but nothing else happened. Same exact reading at the solenoid.
Literally just bought the truck from a dealership two weeks ago.
Truck wont start just clicks. Tried to jump start it and still just clicks once when you turn the key. The clicking is coming from over by the ceilinoyed switch. Recently starting my truck has been an issue, as my battery terminals were loose and i was unable to tighten them so i'd have to hold them down while someone else started my vehicle.
Tried jumping the passenger fender starter relay. No attempt to turn over, just a click. I checked all the fuses and they only had 9.2 volts, then i checked the battery and it had 12.35 volts.
Wont crank or anything, just a single click. However, battery tests at 13.46v while off. When my 2014 silverado does a click and then no start i loose everything.
Then happened again tonight tried to jump it lights got brighter but still wou. Do you have any ideas? It won’t start and it’s making a clicking noise.
Earlier today jumped it and started right up. Just a single click coming from the starter it sounds like i tried to boost it and nothing i tried to tap on the starter and nothing also checked the. Alternator tested good at autozone.
